[prMac.com] Ottawa, Canada - SlippySoft Inc. has announced that Listo, the friendly iCloud-enabled list app is free for seven days to celebrate its first birthday. An update also adds new features and a new app icon. Adding support for the four-inch iPhone 5 screen was the starting point for Listo's latest update, but the app's developers saw the timing as a great opportunity to make a splash to celebrate the first anniversary of Listo's appearance on the App Store.
"We were the first third-party list app to embrace iCloud to synchronize lists across iOS devices, so we wanted to reboot the app in time for its first birthday," explains Derek Gour, owner of SlippySoft Inc., the maker of Listo. "We added iPhone 5 support, and now Listo can also export your lists to email or SMS text message. Our users were asking for this feature, and we were excited to give them what they want, adding to the already impressive feature list of this app."
The company hopes that offering Listo free for seven days will encourage more people to flock to this app that is already getting rave reviews from users.
"We already offer a free version of the app called Listo Lite, which allows people to try the app with a limited feature set, but we wanted to say a big thank you to our dedicated user base, and give more people the opporunity to enjoy using this friendly list app," explains Gour.
The most noticeable change to Listo will be its new app icon.
"Listo's original icon was designed early in the development process, so it didn't fully reflect the final product. This app needs an icon that communicates Listo's commitment to no-fuss, user-friendly experiences. I want the icon to be as fun to look at as the app is fun to use. After running a contest through 99designs, we settled on the perfect design. We're excited about it, and I hope our users will love it too."
